End of February
How can today be the last day of February already? It still feels like the year just started.
Andrew had his birthday. Yay for getting older! Life can only get better, right? We have a tradition of getting together with Ken and Jen (my old roommate and her man) to eat at Tucanos. Tucanos has a "Birthday Club," which means that if you sign up, they'll send you a paper for a free meal. It's on the pricier side to eat there, so I'm a fan of the "Birthday Club." We started this tradition back when we were dating because Andrew and Ken both have birthdays in February. We met up with Ken, Jen, Tyler, and Linda for our annual February Tacanos dinner on Friday night. Leah was really tired, so we didn't do anything afterward. We had scheduled it for two weeks earlier, but I ended up feeling really sick the night before and didn't get much sleep. I was not in the mood to eat anything, so we postponed. It was fun when it finally happened though. :) On his birthday, I attempted to make lava cakes. They were good, but they weren't quite right, so I'm planning on giving it another shot. Oh, poor Andrew. He's going to be subjected to more lava cakes. Sorry, but I didn't even thing to take any pictures of dinner or the lava cakes.
It's official. Leah is not a baby anymore. Leah is a toddler. She still chooses to crawl, but in the past week she's really started walking. It's crazy how fast this girl learns. One day she stops holding onto the furniture for a step or two, and a week later she can go half-way across the room without falling. She walks better now than she did in this video. I think we took it about a week ago.
I'm just glad that the weather will be nice soon so that I can take her outside. Not that we're there yet. I took these pictures a few days ago.
And here are some random pictures, just for the fun of it.

She's so cute walking around! I just saw her and she wasn't walking yet...it happens so fast! Crazy that our babies are almost one!
ReplyDeleteShe's such a cutie! I can't believe that she's walking; what a fun time to watch her grow and learn by leaps and bounds. Happy belated birthday to Andrew, and I'm glad that you guys are doing well :)
ReplyDeleteYay we had fun too. It is so good to see you guys. I can't believe how big Leah gets each time we see her. Happy Birthday to Andrew. For Ken I made brownies and guacamole. Weird combo huh. Love you girly.
