Flying to the Bash

In a rare case of exchanged roles, we woke her up at 4:00 am. No, we weren't trying to get revenge. In fact, we were worried that Leah would get us back by crying nonstop throughout our 10 hours of travel.  As it turns out, her first flight wasn't so bad after all.  She cried before takeoff and landing, but only because she was hungry, and we were waiting to give her a bottle until the air pressure started changing.  Overall, she was very pleasant and even made friends with a grandmother who was excited to sit next to us.

The reason for all of this trouble was to go to the Bash (my family's reunion), which was held in Indiana this year.  Leah got to see her grandparents, cousins, and many other relatives.  The photographic highlight of the trip was the four-generation photo with Leah's grandmother and great-grandfather:

Brown County State Park has an indoor water park for kids.  I wasn't irresponsible enough to take Leah on the water slide, but she enjoyed the "lazy river" and the fountains:

It was a short trip, but we had a lot of fun.  See our Bash 2010 album for more photos from the weekend.
