Provo Canyon
Now that we're home and feel a bit settled (tired of organizing, sorting, cleaning, etc), we decided to wander around Bridal Veil Falls. We got some really good pictures. It's nice having such a nice camera! Granted, we sorted through the pictures and threw half of them away, but we walked away with some really good shots.
Look at how well she's sitting up now!
And she still loves to stand, with some help.
We took Leah in to have a well baby care check up at 5 months instead of 4 months because we've been traveling and moving. She now weighs 16 lb 9.5 oz and is 25.5 inches tall. I was so happy to finally be able to take her in because she had a rash on the back of her knees and on one of her elbows. The doc gave us a cream to put on it. Her skin is almost back to normal! Gotta love prescriptions!
A few days after her check up, I took her in for immunizations. She was so sad! I felt so bad for her because she got a fever the next day. You could just look at her and know she was miserable. At least it went away pretty quickly. (Thank you baby tylenol!) I'm so grateful for modern medicine. First for preventing horrible diseases via immunizations and second for medicines that help with short-term discomfort.
It's hard to see, but Leah isn't wearing any socks in the next picture. She had them on when we got her out of the car, and we couldn't find them along the trail after we noticed they were missing. Seriously, this girl needs her socks glued to her feet to keep them on.
And to add to the excitement of our lives and to change the subject, somebody has stolen our credit card number. Andrew got a phone call from the credit card company because they rejected the card twice for suspicious activity. So, there aren't any fraudulent purchases on our card, but somebody tried twice. One attempt was online and the other was in CA. We can't figure out how they got our number, but the credit card company gets brownie points for not letting either attempt go through. Now we have to get new cards and shred the old ones.

Yay! Finally a baby who weighs as much as mine! (Though Brynlee started out 2 lbs less than Leah--she has just gained a ton!) Brynlee is 16 lb 8 oz at just over 5 months. She's only 24.5 inches, though. Short and chubby. We definitely need to get together soon...we haven't had these babies together since Linda's wedding 4 months ago. Glad you are back in Utah. :)
