Leah at Nine Months

We don't have any major news, but Leah has been developing little by little. She is learning to communicate. For example, sometimes she will bring a toy to us if she wants help, and she has hidden behind a blanket to play peekaboo. Of course, it has been months since she learned how to communicate the thought, "Give me the bottle now!"
She also loves watching Sesame Street videos on Youtube, particularly Elmo's Ducks and Elmo's Song. It's the only way we can get her to be still.
We have added a few more photos to our Fall 2010 album, and there is now a new Winter 2011 album as well. Here are a few recent favorites:

Finally, we made one more video. It's rather boring, but it shows how she's learning to feed herself. If this independent girl had her way (and if we were willing to give her three baths a day), then all of her meals would probably look like this. This video is actually at the end of the feeding; when the bowl was more full, she got more food both in her mouth and on herself.

  1. By the way, I think it's funny how she leisurely kicks up her foot every few seconds in the video.
