Leah's New Speed Record

Funny Story:
We can tell that Leah understands what we're saying sometimes. The other day, she was really tired and cranky. She wanted Andrew to pick her up. Then put her down. Then pick her up. Then put her down. You get the idea. Leah begged Andrew to pick her up again, and he just looked at her and said, "Are you sleepy?" She instantly stopped crying to him and walked as fast as her little legs could carry her to me. I guess she knows that "sleepy" means she's going into her crib. I brushed her teeth, read her a book, and put her in her crib. She went out in an instant. I'm so glad that she's a good sleeper!
Leah has been sweeping the floor since she could stand and hold the broom at the same time. It's so cute how she mimics me. I guess she's seen me do it often enough that she's caught onto the general idea. I took a short video of her sweeping the floor, but I did it vertical instead of horizontal. Oops.
I just think this is a great picture.
Leah loves the lamp these days. She always points at it, and smiles when I turn it on. As you can see, she also loves the remote.
I had to wake Leah up from a nap. I was surprised she didn't wake up when I went into her room. So I took advantage of the situation and took a picture of her sleeping style. She cracks me up.
