Bash: Bass Lake

As always, we had a great time at The Bash.

The first night consisted of lounging around Evan and Lisa's house, catching up with people we haven't seen in a while.
In the morning we went to a large tiger reserve that saves large feline animals from various situations.  Some came from zoos that lost funding. Some had been people's pets, who obviously couldn't take care of them properly. It was really hot out, but it was fun to learn about the different animals they had. Leah was more interested in the rocks in the path than the tigers and lions.
The second night was at Bass Lake. It was a nice location and as always, we enjoyed a talent show.
We flew out the next day, and I'm glad to report that it wasn't half as eventful as our flight to Atlanta.

Comments

  1. Leah wasn't very good at the game where she was supposed to empty the box of tissue as fast as possible. She tried to wipe my nose with each tissue she removed, which really slowed her down.

  2. It's ok Andrew she was just trying to not "waste" the tissues and be resourceful...that's a great quality to have ;) haha she is so cute!
