Timp Cave, Provo Canyon, and a Splash Park

We hiked up to Timpanogos Cave the day before it closed for trail maintenance. It brought back a memory of the only other time I've been up there. We were dating and Andrew took me because he knew how cool it was, and one of the employees there asked if we were married. That was awkward. It's funny now. Oh, and we saw a rattle snake. I don't mind garter snakes, but poisonous snakes freak me out.  Especially if it is looking right at me.
I love living so close to Provo Canyon. It really never gets old. We attempted to get some family pictures by using the tripod and delay setting. Look at the beauties we walked away with.
There's A LOT more where that came from. I only look stupid in the next one because I was successful at working hard to get Leah to stay still and smile. We'll have to try it another time.
Leah was much happier when we just let her play. She was so excited when she got to touch the water. Then she tried to drink from it.
I invited myself to Linda's place to go swimming in her pool. I love it when she's off-track. Only to find out that we were locked out of the pool. So we went to the neighborhood Splash Park instead.
I think I look like Linda in this.  Because I cut my hair? Or because I'm wearing her bright yellow shirt?

  1. Ha! Leah strangely seems to have grown since the last pictures. I like the timed group portrait attempts -- especially the 'successful' pic, since you (Karen) have a "it better work, this time" look, and you (Andrew) have a "C'est la vie" look :)

  2. Those family picture attempts are so funny! And I totally thought that the yellow shirt picture was Linda until you said it was you! So I guess that means you do look like her in that picture. Sorry I'm a bad friend and totally forgot to get back to you about us getting together. I'll look at my calendar and send you a message on facebook!
