Confused Soul

Our lives haven't been too eventful lately. The other day, Leah found this paintbrush. When I told her it was a paintbrush, she proceeded to brush her hair. She's a confused soul.
Andrew went on his 50 mile bike ride, but ended up calling me to pick him up around mile 37 because his knee hurt. It started hurting around the mile 10, but he kept at it for a while longer. The weird part is he's never had a problem with his knee before. The next day he took it easy to give it time to heal. And now it's feeling a lot better.
Along his bike ride, he passed this park in Lindon, so later we went together for the fun of it. Of course, Andrew practiced taking pictures.
I love it when Leah walks with her hands behind her back.
If you look closely, you can see my roots. Only one person noticed when I dyed it, but I think it looks much lighter than my natural color. I was bored with my hair. You would think I'd just come up with a new way to style it, but I can't stand my hair in my face. So it's destined to be tied back most of the time. Should I dye my roots to match, or just dye my hair back to my original color so I don't have to do it again later?

  1. Hi kids- I love her little professor walk- hands and everything- thanks for sharing- Leah is so precocious- you two are doing such a good job for first time parents- we miss you guys here I am sure your mother does, big time. Be careful of rubber bands- they can cause life time problems , any pulling on fragile hair causes hair loss- maybe a layered haircut would take care of that baby hair without rubber bands- Love CR

  2. Aww you are right, that little walk is adorable. It depends on if you liked the lighter color. I just spent 2 years growing mine out to my natural color so that I wouldn't have to deal with it, and it's healthier, but sometimes I miss my lighter color. Do what you want to do I say :-)

  3. At Leah's age and for several more years, her uncle Evan walked around the same way. People thought he was such a well-behaved child when we were at their homes and in shops.
