Halloween
I made a little peacock costume for Leah. There's a headband also, but she wasn't cooperative about it. I thought making her a peacock was pretty clever of me, but it turns out that we saw a few peacocks wandering around the trunk-or-treat. Maybe next year I'll come up with something better for her. And something for me. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years. It's not that I dislike dressing up, but that I have to feel like I have an amazing idea to get into it. The pictures aren't great, but you take what you can get.
We also went to a Halloween party, and we had a really good time. There was a lady there who I had never met, but lives down the street from us. She was seriously convinced that her house is haunted by its original owner, who gets upset about renovations. Fortunately, he's happier if they talk loudly about how much they like the house and appreciate the work he put into it. She talked about having ghost hunters coming to her house and everything. There is no good way to respond to that. It didn't help that she was dressed up like a gypsy fortune teller.

Wow...um wow. I wish I could have been there to watch you trying to respond to that. That must have been hilarious. Cute costume. I hardly dressed up this year. So hard to be creative.
