Dreaming of a Warm Christmas

Yep. That's right. That's a cactus behind the Christmas tree. I love Phoenix. If I hadn't married Andrew, I would have moved there. At least we get to visit the area occasionally. If I wasn't so sun-deprived, I would have worn a sweater the whole time we were there. As it is, I decided to deal with the cool air for the rare opportunity to produce some vitamin D.

Have you ever seen Christmas lights on a palm tree? Well, now you've at least seen a picture. Andrew laughs at me when I say I feel at home when I see palm trees. I thought they were really ugly when I was a kid, but they really grew on me.
We went to the Botanical Garden.  There are a lot of varieties of cactus, in case you were wondering.
Leah thinks she's too big for a stroller, and Kayla thinks she's not.  They're both wrong.

  1. I TOTALLY know what you mean about feeling at home when you see palm trees, and yes, I saw lights on palm trees every year. Oh Arizona I love you! We were there too, I forgot you guys were going. Hope you had a fun warm Christmas. We went for a picnic in the park for Christmas Eve. Can't do that here. Not comfortably anyways.
