Golden Arches
With our remaining time in Utah limited, we decided to finally visit Moab during my Mom's visit. Not only did we hike some great trails, but we also enjoyed the amazing and unique landscapes of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. The weather was perfect for taking photographs of the interesting rock formations.
The view through Landscape Arch in Canyonlands on our first hike:
A window or arch in the distance (we never figured out the difference between windows and arches):
The sky was overcast most of the day, but at sunset, the clouds broke and the formations at the Garden of Eden in Arches were immersed in warm light (photo by Karen):
The nearly full moon also appeared through the clouds:
Karen got a shot of me taking the previous photo (with the moon):
It was fun to take pictures in such an interesting setting.
