Andrea, this is for you
Leah has been pretending she's Andrea for about a week. She points at me and tells me that I'm Uncle Peter. And of course, here are the children:
Brita is the doll with the hair. Benton is the second doll. And Mima is the bear - sporting a lovely diaper. (I tried to explain that there would be a new baby soon, but Leah keeps thinking I'm talking about Mima. I prefer her dragging three dolls/stuffed animals around everywhere rather than four anyway.)
And here they are driving to the park to play with Benton's tool set and watch people cut down trees. It's interesting what kids remember. Leah's closing the car door in this picture, and all the cousins are strapped into their "carseats." Notice that each cousin has a bowl of ice cream and a spoon for the trip. I'm not a fan of all the toys that should be stored in these bins being dumped on the floor, but at least she's having fun.
While I was sitting next to her and dancing.
ReplyDeleteLeah: Mom, stop dancing!
Me: Why?
Leah: 'Cuz you'll get hurt!
Me: How will I get hurt?
Leah: You'll fall out of the car!
What a funny little girl. :)
