Goings On

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd throw in an update. We've been keeping ourselves busy. Andrew's finishing off his last research paper. Leah's thrilled to have new neighbors with a little girl who is a year younger, and a boy who is a little bit older. Leah's also been taking a class at the rec center: Tumbling Tots. I think it's a really cute class. The coaches change things up a bit every time. But a few examples of activities (sometimes adapted for young children) include t-ball, running, jumping jacks, stretching, somersaults, cartwheels, throwing/catching balls, mini trampoline, mini basketball, hula hoops, balance beam, assisted back walkovers, bowling, hop scotch, soccer, etc. Here are a few pictures I took at the class one day:
This class is money very well spent. And yet I think Leah's favorite part is the stamp they put on her hand at the end of class. She doesn't seem to like being upside down.

Here's a video of her practicing somersaults at home. Just ignore the fact that she's wearing only panties (backwards I might add - her doing, not mine.)
