It's fun that Leah's old enough to start drawing better pictures.

This was one of her first pictures that wasn't just scribbles:
Next is an apple tree. (I drew a picture step-by-step, and she copied the steps on her own paper. So she had a little help with this one.) As you can tell, she used stationery.
Next is a house and a small doghouse. The circles are windows. I drew the dog for her, but she was upset that I didn't draw a tongue (as I had in a previous picture), so she added one herself. I also drew the clouds for her, because she asked for help.
The next few pictures were inspired by a book from the library. I don't remember the title (sorry!), but it was a book that showed how to make pictures out of shapes.

For the first picture, I drew the shapes for her. But she cut them, glued them, and drew in flowers, grass, and leaves.
I cut out the shapes for the next two pictures. But she glued them. I helped with some of the smaller pieces of paper, but tried to let her do it herself.
Since she made a picture of a dog (and every dog in our house is named Bella), the girl picture had to be Jen. (The corner is cut out because I used it to make the eyes.)
Most masterpieces make their way to the trash, but it's nice to save some in digital format.
